About Dan Sheehy

In 2015, Dan Sheehy, Physical Therapist, and his wife Melissa Sheehy launched Mobile PT to bring high-quality, compassionate therapy directly into seniors’ homes. Dan spent years working in skilled nursing facilities and saw a clear pattern: many hospitalizations could have been prevented if seniors received the right therapy and support at home.

He noticed that patients made faster, more meaningful progress when therapy happened in their own environments — their hallways, kitchens, bedrooms, and daily routines.

“This sparked Dan’s vision: help seniors stay out of the hospital and remain safe, strong, and independent at home by integrating therapy into everyday life.”

This vision became the foundation of Mobile PT. Dan believes that when therapy is personalized to a patient’s actual living space, the results are not just clinical, but transformational for their quality of life.

In his spare time, Dan loves to spend time with his wife and 2 boys, Tristan and Nathan, camping or sailing.
