Katie has been working in the field of speech pathology for seven years and graduated with an MS in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. Prior to joining Mobile PT, she worked in the school system, which she continues to do.

She enjoys working with the senior population because their life stories are colorful and they’re often grateful for company. Katie finds it most rewarding when she can help individuals and caregivers successfully use alternative modes of communication. She considers it a win when someone receives communication options beyond their voice or transitions from a feeding tube back to a regular diet.
