Omar Arvizu

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Omar has been working in physical therapy since he was 20 years old. He started his career as a physical therapy assistant in Newport Beach, where he received a guided mentorship from a manual physical therapist who specialized in orthopedic diagnosis and healing. This became a solid steppingstone into continuing his education and licensure for physical therapy. Omar currently has his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with a specialization in Applied Functional Science. He has also received specialized training in vestibular PT, fall prevention, fall recovery, and water therapy. Omar has received awards from his colleagues for his manual techniques, and creative treatment approaches for his patients. He has past work experience in the Center for Successful Aging, Center for Sports Performance, and Strength Center of the West located at Cal State Fullerton, where Omar graduated with honors and worked as an Athletic Trainer. Today, he prioritizes his family: wife and two sons. He enjoys dancing, swimming, traveling, cooking, and eating.
